The City Economic Developer feels this program is one of the best COVID-19 emergency response programs for local businesses. Any FDIC institution can initiate these loans which will be fully forgiven. Applications can be submitted beginning today – April 3rd. Interest during the loan period will be paid to the FDIC institution by the federal government. The program is recommended for serious consideration for businesses attempting to preserve employees, make payroll, and pay reoccurring bills.
